These beautiful mantel pieces can add a rustic feel to a new build or blend in seamlessly into a periodic property. Each piece is made from high quality partially seaseoned solid European Oak and are are perfect for interior fireplace surrounds.

With Oak being a natural product each mantel will be unique to itself and may contain, or develop overtime as it continues to dry, surface cracks, knots and splits adding to the overall charm of the piece.

Our solid Oak mantel pieces are available in a wide range of section sizes; 100x75, 125 x 100, 125x125, 150x125, 150x150, 200x50, 200x100, 200x125 and 225x125 and a variety of lengths ranging from 610mm (2ft) to 2440mm (8ft), so we are sure to have the perfect mantel for you. Our mantels can also be cut to a custom size using our custom cutting service.

All mantels by default, come in a sawn finish, although we also have options for:

Planed All Round

Planed all sides to a smooth to the touch finish with minimal splinters and generally ready for treatment.

PAR & Chamfered

Almost identical finish to Planed All Round with the additon of bevelled/eased edges to remove any sharpness and provide the smoothest touch.

Distressed (Adzed)

Similar to both Planed All Round and PAR & Bevelled, our distressed finish is a planed smooth option finished off with random adzed shaping to give a faux worn effect.

Since our oak mantels are partially dried, it is recommended that they are not used as floating shelves due to the high risk of movement, unless using a suitable heavy duty fixing method. We do offer a range of oak corbels to match you mantel in order to secure your mantel piece directly into the brick work.
