UK Sleepers - Our Aims

 

We have been in business since 1947 supplying goods to homes and industry, we pride ourselves on our high levels of service and our ability to maintain superb customer relations.

We operate from 3 sites in the Midlands with a total area of over 10 acres of warehousing and open storage.

We employ more than 70 full time staff across our group of companies.

Our vehicle fleet numbers over 30 with GVW varying from 35 cwt to HGV class 1.

Our area of operation covers the whole of the UK and Europe with full truck loads arranged to any European location.

 

Timber Online

 

Sawmills across the UK and Europe are happy to provide us with custom milled timber materials for specific customer requirements in both softwood and hardwood, so please feel free to contact us with any peculiar requirements that you may have – it is very probable that we can help!

UK Sleepers operate from many different locations throughout the UK and can offer a truly nationwide delivery service on our fleet of specially constructed vehicles, all of which have self-offloading crane facilities to make life a lot easer!

PLANED OAK MANTEL PIECE

I don’t know if any of your customers do this but I am so pleased with your product I felt compelled to send you a few pictures and message of thanks. It wasn’t the easiest of jobs I’ve undertaken but the end result is exactly what I had in mind, just the TV to be fixed above and its job done. I purchased and applied a finishing oil (resins and tung oil) to the oak, which really enhances the beauty of the wood. There are some nice cracks developing in the oak as you will see and a couple of knots. Well, as I said, I am delighted with your product, it looks great and with any luck will get even better with age. Money well spent. Thank you.
