If you are carrying out interior projects, air dried oak is the ideal choice. It is solid and sturdy, and by choosing our custom milling service you can receive a product that is totally bespoke and made especially for you.
The kiln dried oak that we supply is dried to have 8-10% moisture. It comes from sustainably cropped European woodlands, giving it an attractive grain and making it perfect for flooring and furniture.
Fresh sawn oak, also known as green oak, is also available as a custom milled option from UK Sleepers. Our other freshly sawn alternative is our untreated oak board, which is cut with a straight edge to make it perfect for use in the garden. Create patios, planters, furniture and raised beds.
