These beautiful rough sawn mantel pieces can add a rustic feel to a new build or blend in seamlessly into a periodic property. Made from high quality partially air dried solid wood, they are perfect for interior fireplace surrounds.With oak being a natural product each mantel will be unique to itself and may contain surface cracks, knots and splits adding to the overall charm of the mantel piece.
Our rough sawn mantel pieces are available in a wide range of section sizes- 100x75;125x125; 150x150; 200x50; 125x100; 200x125 and 225x125 and a variety of lengths, so we are sure to have the perfect mantel for you. Our mantels can also be cut to a custom size using our customer cutting service.
Although our mantels are supplied untreated, to allow for our customers to decide if they wish to add further treatment to the oak, we de stock a range of Treatex Hardwax Oils in a variety of colour tones and finishes to meet the individual requirements of customers.
Since our oak mantels are partially dried, it is recommended that they are not used as floating shelves due to the high risk of movement. We do offer a range of oak corbels to match you mantel in order to secure your mantel piece directly into the brick work.
