Our beautiful 145mm English Larch/Douglas fir decking is sawn selected and machined by us on site from start to finish. English Larch and Douglas Fir are regarded to be the most hardwearing of all domestic softwoods, not only this as well as being incredibly resilient, they are both aesthetically stunning.

Due to the natural durability of this softwood as a result of its high resin content, your decking boards will require no treatment once laid. However some of our customers decide to apply a coat of Treatex Douglas Fir Protection in order to preserve the natural colour of this wood for that little bit longer. The colour of English Larch/ Douglas fir varies greatly from a beautiful deep red to pink to cream which is an uncontrollable property of this species of wood. This adds serious character to the softwood, however is the timber is not treated it will become a charming silver/grey colour once weathered.

Available in various sizes and the choice of either a bevelled edge non-slip profile or planed smooth, we will have the dimensions and finish you require for your external project. Please be aware that is a preferred finish is not stated the bevelled profile will be supplied.

Still unsure whether this timber is right for your project? We offer up to two samples of our decking boards for £5 including vat postage charge. If you then wish to purchase decking boards that are the same as the sample product, we will reimburse you the £5 postage charge when you place your order with us.
